What we deliver, and where.
Metrology Consulting
Independent advice on measurement processes, equipment and software selection, implementation, and machine tool calibration, whether or not there is a job on the books.
Consulting details →A big job usually means juggling subcontractors. Not this one.
When a project needs eight technicians with trackers across three sites, the customer normally ends up acting as their own general contractor: vetting subcontractors one at a time, cutting a PO for each, chasing insurance certificates and calibration records, then reconciling reports that do not match. Put the network on it and that entire layer disappears. nSIGHT holds the contract, selects the crews, runs the schedule, and hands back one set of documentation.
On an everyday single-crew job, it works the way it would with any good provider: one PO, one point of contact. On the large ones, that is the whole difference.
A single point of contract
One contract, however many crews and sites the job takes. We select, schedule, and manage every specialist on the work. You review one set of reports and pay one invoice.
Vetted, consulting-backed specialists
Every crew is qualified and directed by leadership with 120+ combined years in industrial metrology, the same people behind nSIGHT Consulting.
Expertise without the overhead
The network model scales across the United States without the cost structure of a big firm. You pay for field expertise, not overhead.
People who know how the work actually runs.
Customers need more than equipment. They need people who know how to work in real shops, plants, shipyards, and industrial field environments.
Our leadership came up through Newport News Shipbuilding and the wider metrology industry, and it shows in the field. Ron Hicks ran the Dimensional Control Department at Newport News and sits on the CMS Board of Directors. Joe Sabol led shipfitting, welding, and metrology there. We pair that background with field-ready personnel who understand how demanding jobs actually run, and we focus on getting customers useful results without a lot of overhead.
The kind of work we get called in for.
